Mark Lavin was born on February 05,1954 in Los Angeles, California. He grew up and went to school in West Los Angeles,where he also graduated from Santa Monica College. Mark loved the outdoors, and particularly anything to do with plants,trees, and gardens. He worked as Senior gardener at Pierce College for most of his adult life, and lived nearby in the Valley. Mark was a devoted son to both of his parents,Sam and Gladys,and helped to care for each of them. Mark died of complications of open heart surgery on December 26,2010. He is much loved and will always be remembered by his friends and family.
